NZ Blood have become a regular presence in Rosebank, setting up at the Westend Rowing Clubroom twice each year to make it easier for local people to donate. In an effort to increase the number of donors, they recently trialled extending the donation hours into the later part of the workday, remaining open until 6:00 pm so employees could stop in on their way home rather than during work hours. After speaking with NZ Blood organisers, it appears the extended hours did not significantly change the number of people donating.
