Sirens & Sounds Festival

Sirens & Sounds Festival, an Annual event held at Eastdale Reserve, Rosebank Rd, Avondale, is a collaboration between the Auckland City Police District West, Fire Emergency NZ and St Johns with support from the Whau Local Board. Its primary purpose is to showcase the work of the emergency services, promote safety messages and engage and educate citizens in a fun family-friendly, full-on interactive day out.

The festival also provides opportunities for multiple agencies to participate in this unique festival. Running parallel to the importance of the core information messaging is that Sirens and Sounds is a festival in the true sense of the word. We value building on a and retaining Public and stakeholder engagement by ensuring the event is a diverse and inclusive free day out for all with a variety of quality entertainment, food stalls, cultural acts, interactive and informative demonstrations, career/recruitment options and local community involvement.

The Rosebank Business Association has sponsored this fun and educational Festival for the last 5 years with t-shirts and caps as well as other contributions.
