Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) is an ideal time for workplaces to focus on employee well-being and foster a supportive environment. This year, the spotlight is on the five key areas of wellness: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give.

Connect encourages building strong relationships with colleagues to create a sense of belonging. Be Active promotes regular physical activity, which improves both physical and mental health. Encouraging staff to Take Notice—practicing mindfulness—helps reduce stress and boost clarity. Fostering a culture of growth through Keep Learning supports ongoing skill development, which enhances confidence and resilience. Lastly, Give emphasizes the importance of generosity, contributing to a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

We had a fantastic response as the RBA reached out to our local Rosebank businesses to see what they were doing for MHAW. It was amazing—the response included walking and biking groups, kids’ games, shared lunches, and appreciation walls, leaving everyone with smiles and great vibes.

Congratulations to the 10 businesses that won Subway vouchers!
