The RBA’s Matariki colouring competition at Rosebank Primary School encouraged children to explore the cultural significance of this special time while expressing their creativity. With prizes like Auckland Zoo pass packs for different age groups, the competition made learning about Matariki fun and engaging.
Alongside this, the RBA extended the competition to Rosebank business employees’ families, fostering community connection and participation.
Through art, children not only learned about the stars of Matariki but also deepened their understanding of New Zealand’s heritage, blending creativity with culture in a way that resonates with families.
