Rosebank Business Association reaches finals in 2022 Westpac Auckland Business Awards

Recognising excellence and outstanding achievement in the business sector, the Rosebank Business Association (RBA) was announced as a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Community Contribution’ category at this year’s Westpac Business Awards North/West.

The category acknowledges a community-focused initiative that has been introduced, and the impact it is having on the community. As a finalist, the Rosebank Wellbeing Collab initiative was recognised for its commitment to leading the way in workplace wellbeing.

“What an honour for the RBA to be appreciated for all the work we are doing in creating a wellbeing toolbox that is accessible to not only local businesses but to our Rosebank community,” said Kim Watts – RBA Executive Engagement Manager.

With close to 1200 entries, being chosen as one of only 47 finalists over the nine categories for the North/West region is an outstanding achievement on its own.

The Rosebank Wellbeing Collab was initially developed in partnership with the RBA, Business Lab, and Healthy Families Waitākere in 2020, and has gone from strength to strength where we are now seeing system change and the impact it is having on our businesses, employees, and the wider community. The leadership group has created opportunities to draw on shared skills, resources, venues, and tools that help grow the movement with a focus on Community, Financial Wellbeing, B2B, and Traffic.

When looking at the 23 activities that have been rolled out through the Rosebank Wellbeing Collab, you can’t help but admire the effort that has gone into this initiative to be able to implement and bring together the Rosebank business community in very trying Covid times.

We will continue to grow the Rosebank Wellbeing Collab and the contribution we can make to strengthening our community through these wellbeing events, shared knowledge, and direction.

As we move toward 2023, we can’t wait to see where the Rosebank Wellbeing Collab roadmap leads us, but one thing is for certain – Wellbeing is here to stay in our Rosebank Business Community!
