We’re fighting crime in Rosebank Road – will you help?
At the Rosebank Business Association (RBA), keeping our businesses, staff, and community safe is one of our top priorities. While we’ve made great strides in crime prevention, we know there’s more to do.
Since 2021, our Engagement Manager, Kim Watts, has tracked over 400 unlawful incidents in our Business Improvement District. To combat this, we established the Rosebank Crime Prevention Group, bringing together key stakeholders such as the Auckland Council, Whau Local Board, Avondale Police, Auckland Transport, and Matrix Security.
We’ve already made a difference, but we’re taking it further.
We’ve installed CCTV cameras with night vision on Rosebank Road. These cameras not only deter crime but are also directly connected to the Safer Cities vGRID system, allowing law enforcement to track and catch criminals faster. While CCTV won’t stop crime entirely, it helps ensure those who target our businesses are identified, caught, and held accountable. And over time, this will deter criminals from coming to our area in the first place.
But we need your help to fully fund this initiative.

Help us build a safer community

Through the Local Board, Council & RBA, we’ve managed to raise $23,000 but our goal is $60,000
How you can help
For just $250, you can purchase an “Advertising Tile” – a direct investment in our community’s safety. Your contribution covers the purchase and installation of these CCTV cameras.
What you get in return
We believe in recognising those who step up for our community. When you purchase a tile, you’ll receive:
More tiles = More impact!
Each tile is $250 + GST. If you want to make a bigger impact, you can purchase multiple tiles:
Contribute to a safer Rosebank Community for only $250
Purchase your tile today and be part of something bigger.
Leading by example
RBA Chairman Stefan Crooks has already stepped up and generously secured two tiles. Watch his video to see why he believes this initiative is crucial for our community.
