The Easter spirit was in full swing on April 10 as Room 9 from Rosebank Primary School, winners of the Rosebank Business Association’s (RBA) Easter Egg competition, joined the RBA Easter Egg Hunt. Bursting with excitement, the students cracked clues and followed a trail of surprises through a colourful scavenger course, uncovering hidden treasures at every turn.
Colourful Easter egg piñatas dangled from the fale rafters, each filled with sweet treats waiting to be discovered. A lively chocolate egg-and-spoon race saw teams carefully delivering their chocolate eggs to a shared basket, adding a playful challenge to the morning.
A big thank you to Woolworths New Lynn for generously donating fresh fruit and chocolate eggs, and to Molly Woppy for their delightful Easter bunny biscuits. RBA added to the festive spirit with a morning tea of warm hot cross buns. The event was a joyful celebration of teamwork, laughter, and community support—creating memories the students won’t soon forget.
Meanwhile, the RBA also ran its annual Easter Egg competition for local business employees. Participants had to find hidden eggs in a specially designed Easter-themed picture. This year’s hunt was a hit, with 120 entries and 29 lucky winners taking home yummy Easter goodie packs.
